Our pitch-
Two men interrogate a scientist. A flashback to his mad experiment- he drinks a potion. Then evades the room using his power.
This links into the brief clearly, by using a 'power' to enhance the protagonists outlook. Also the costume and setting connotes to a thriller/action scene- attracting an adult audience. Power and status, and social groups will also be represented by reinforcing/subverting stereotypes. This will intrigue the audience to watch further. It also increases the effect for the opening as it fulfills the expectations an opening needs, in exciting the audience to watch further.
